DELLは2012年11月2日、ALIENWAREシリーズのWindows 8対応など2012年秋冬モデルを発表した。
ALIENWARE M14x、ALIENWARE M17x、ALIENWARE M18xなどで、Windows 8に対応するなどした製品。
ゲームの中にはWindows 8に対応していない物も多いことから、Windows 7モデルも継続販売される。
SSDの対応も強化され、ハイブリッドストレージオプションに、128GB mSTA SSDが加わるなど基本パフォーマンスが上がる。
また、OSは日本語版に加えて、マルチ言語対応の「中国語&英語版」も提供される。
