DELLはドイツで行われているIFA 2012において、Windows 8などに対応する新製品を発表した。
Windows RTに対応するピュアタブレットで、専用のキーボードドッグも用意されノートパソコンのように使用できるXPS 10、液晶が回転してタブレットとしても使用できるXPS Duo 12。
それぞれの製品は2012年末の発売が予定されている。
XPS Duo 12は液晶周囲の額縁部分が固定で、中の液晶が縦方向に回転することでタブレットとしても使用できる製品。
12型液晶を搭載する。
XPS 10はWindows RTが動作するピュアタブレットでQualcommのSnapdragonを採用する。
