ネットブックをWindows 7へ移行するサービス

マイクロソフトは2010年4月20日、システムビルダー4社が協力しWindows XP搭載のネットブックをWindows 7へ移行するサービスを開始したと発表した。

通常のネットブックは光学ドライブが非搭載、初期のネットブックはHDDの容量が少ないなど、OSのアップグレードは技術的に難しかったが、これをシステムビルダーが代行し行うサービス。

Windows 7移行サービス

DSP版のWindows 7を使い、メモリ増設なども含め2万円前後でアップグレードできる。

株式会社サードウェーブ(ドスパラ)
株式会社ユニットコム(パソコン工房・TWOTOP・ Faith)
の4社がサービスを開始する。
