Intelは2023年に発表したCore Ultraシリーズから、Coreシリーズのブランド名を変更している。
2024年1月8日には、モバイル向けの「Intel Core Mobile Processors (Series 1)」を発表し、AI機能を搭載する「Core Ultra (Series 1)」や従来の「Intel Core 14th Gen Mobile Processors」の3ブランドで展開される。

AI機能を搭載する「Core Ultra」シリーズが、AIに対応するプレミアム製品向けとなり、「Core」シリーズがAI機能の無いメインストリーム向けとなる。それぞれ2024年に発売される主な製品はSeries 1となる。今後世代が進むとこの数字が増えていくようだ。
第14世代Coreは従来シリーズからの継続となり、新シリーズに切り替われば終了するだろう。
