産経新聞デジタル版の2014年3月8日付で、東芝が4月にChromebookを投入すると報道した。
GoogleのChrome OSを搭載するクラムシェル型のPCで、300ドル(3万円)程度と低価格なことが特徴の製品だ。
東芝はラスベガスで2014年1月に行われたCESで、アメリカ市場へChromebookを投入することを発表しており、日本で発売するならこのモデルを日本に投入することになるだろう。
